It is always a very special experience to see a city from the air, and flying sightseeing over Aarhus is no exception. It provides a great impression of how the city is laid out with roads, houses, and not least the city’s many iconic buildings. On the sightseeing tour, you can experience, among other things, The Infinite Bridge, Aarhus Ø, and Ceres Park & Arena from above. The route may be adjusted depending on weather and traffic.

Charter the entire aircraft for a sightseeing tour
You also have the option to charter the entire aircraft for a sightseeing tour. This may be for a corporate event or a trip with family and friends — an experience you will not soon forget. The time of day depends on what time of year you wish to fly. In the darker months, it will be around midday, and as the days get lighter, you can choose either midday or evening. If you wish to charter the entire aircraft for standard sightseeing, payment is required for a minimum of 10 participants. If there are more than 10, you pay for the number of participants. Programme:
The event begins with the captain in charge for the day explaining what it is like to fly a seaplane. In many ways, it is very different and demands more of the captain and pilot than flying a regular aircraft.

Check-in 20 min. before departure

• 5–10 min. introduction from the captain, followed by boarding and a briefing from the pilot.
• 3 min. taxi out to the “runway”, which is usually just outside the breakwater.
• 15 min. flight time over Aarhus at an altitude of approximately 1,500 ft (500 metres).
• 3 min. landing and taxi back to the dock.
• The event takes approx. 25 minutes in total, incl. information, a flight over the city, taxi time, and selfies. We fly within a radius of approx. 50 km, so you will get to see a great deal.

Check-in:
Please arrive no later than 20 minutes before departure.

Parking:
Free parking is available at the airport.

Price per person DKK 797
The price is the same for adults and children on standard sightseeing tours.

Rebooking:
You can change a booking up to 8 days before departure if the ticket was booked online. A fee of DKK 200 per booking reference applies. If there are multiple passengers on the same booking reference, it still costs only DKK 200. If you wish to change your booking, please email rs@seaplanes.dk.

Cancellation:
There must be a minimum of 6 participating guests on our flying sightseeing tours before we operate the flight.

The sightseeing tour may be cancelled due to too few participants or visibility being so poor that we cannot operate. We will, of course, notify you as soon as possible by email and SMS once we know the departure is cancelled.

In the event of cancellation, the payment will be refunded using the same method as used for payment.

Please note: Normally, sales are distributed roughly evenly between men and women. Therefore, 15 seats are available for sale. Situations may arise where 15 seats have been sold to men, and we cannot fly with that from a weight perspective. If this happens, we will have to deny boarding to a passenger.
