It is always a very special experience to see a city from the air, and we can offer you that with an aerial sightseeing tour over Copenhagen. It provides a great impression of how the city is laid out with roads, houses and, not least, the city’s many iconic landmarks.

During the taxi from the gate to the take-off point in Copenhagen, we pass The Little Mermaid. From the air you will see Amalienborg, The Black Diamond, the Opera House, Christiania, the Citadel, the canals, Sydhavnen, Christiansborg and much more. The route may be adjusted depending on weather and traffic.

Family sightseeing
Bring the family on a family sightseeing tour, and if you are up early, you can also save money. On the day’s first departure, children (2–12 years) now fly at half price, i.e. DKK 397. So, if you are a family of 2 adults and 2 children, you can save a total of DKK 800 by choosing the first departure. There may be certain days when family sightseeing is not available.

Charter the entire aircraft for a sightseeing tour
You also have the option to charter the entire aircraft for a sightseeing tour. This could be for a corporate event or a trip with family and friends—an experience you will not soon forget. The time of day depends on what time of year you wish to fly. In the darker months it will be around midday, and as the days get lighter, you can choose either midday or evening. If you wish to charter the entire aircraft for standard sightseeing, payment is required for a minimum of 10 participants. If there are more than 10, you pay for the number of participants.

Programme:
The event begins with the captain in charge for the day explaining what it is like to fly a seaplane. In many ways it is very different and demands more of the captain and pilot than flying a conventional aircraft.

Check-in 20 min. before departure

5–10 min. introduction from the captain, followed by boarding and a briefing from the pilot.
10 min. taxi out to the “runway” at Trekroner, where we take off from.
15 min. flight time over Copenhagen at an altitude of approximately 1,500 ft (500 m).
10 min. landing at Trekroner and taxi back to the dock.

The event takes approx. 35–40 minutes in total, incl. briefing, a flight over the city, taxi time and selfies. We fly within a radius of approx. 50 km, so you will get to see a great deal.

Time:
We fly sightseeing on most weekdays from 1 April and on Saturdays from 12 April. The first departure is typically at 10:00 or 11:00, then every hour until around 14:00–15:00. Find your departure on the booking page.

Check-in:
Please arrive no later than 20 minutes before departure.

Location:
NORDIC Seaplanes, Nordre Toldbod 29, 1259 Copenhagen K. Check-in at the gate directly opposite Løgismose.

Parking:
Parking is available by the gate—remember your parking disc. 24-hour paid parking through the gate right up by the seaplane.

Price per person DKK 797
The price is the same for adults and children on standard sightseeing tours. On our family sightseeing, children (2–12 years) fly for DKK 397,-

Rebooking:
It is possible to change a booking 8 days before departure if the ticket is booked online. It costs a fee of DKK 200 per booking number. If there are several on the same booking number, it still only costs DKK 200. If you want to change your booking, send an email to rs@seaplanes.dk.

Cancellation:
There must be a minimum of 6 participating guests on our aerial sightseeing tours before we operate the flight.

The sightseeing tour may be cancelled due to too few participants or visibility being so poor that we cannot operate. We will, of course, notify you as soon as possible by email and SMS once we know the departure is cancelled.

In the event of cancellation, the payment will be refunded using the same method as used for payment.

Please note: Normally, sales are distributed roughly evenly between men and women. Therefore, 15 seats are available for sale. Situations may arise where 15 seats have been sold to men, and we cannot fly with that from a weight perspective. If this happens, we will have to deny boarding to a passenger.
