Information regarding the temporary fuel surcharge

Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing historically steep increases in fuel prices, which have risen by 70% in a short period of time. As fuel is our single largest operating cost, we are therefore compelled to introduce a temporary fuel surcharge effective from Monday, 23 March.

It is essential to us that our surcharge only covers the actual increase in fuel prices and is calculated based on our average load factor.

The amount will go in full towards covering the extraordinary additional costs that the market is currently dictating. We are introducing this measure solely to maintain our current schedule and high level of service during a challenging time for aviation.

The new rates (as of 23 March)
The surcharge will be applied to all new bookings at the following fixed rates:

• Route (Aarhus–Copenhagen): DKK 146 per passenger.
• Sightseeing: DKK 51 per passenger.

Good to know:

• It is temporary: We monitor prices closely every single week. As soon as fuel prices fall and stabilise again, the surcharge will be reduced or removed entirely.
• Existing bookings: If you have already purchased and paid for your ticket before Monday, 23 March, you will of course not be charged any additional fee.
• Clear price overview: You will always be able to see the specific surcharge as a separate line item before you complete your payment in our booking system.
